A Leading-Edge Liquid Fortifier Brand by Paver Technologies
Before proceeding with the installation, make sure you have an up-to-date technical data sheet and watch the application video. ALWAYS TEST on a small hidden area of approximately 4 sq ft to ensure that the result meets your expectations.
Shake the container well before use, and do not dilute. Mix one bag of DriBond® with one container of BorderBond®. To obtain a uniform consistency, we recommend mixing both products gradually in two or more doses. The mix must have a smooth, creamy consistency.
Remove any dry DriBond® from the border areas. The surface must be clean and dry.
Using a 1/2” by 1/2” square notch trowel or a margin trowel, apply the mix to the borders and transitions as necessary. This will create a mortar bed on which to lay the pavers.
Install border pavers as described on the DriBond® bag or technical data sheet. Remove any excess product from the edge of the finished paved area. There should be no air pockets or voids under the border pavers. Never allow the border pavers to protrude past the edge of the existing concrete.
Note: Although not mandatory, wetting the concrete surface before applying the BorderBond® mix will ensure optimal bond strength and adhesion.
1.58 gal of BorderBond® mixed with one bag of DriBond® covers approximately 30 linear feet, based on a 12-inch wide border. The coverage will depend on the surface condition and desired BorderBond® bedding thickness.
